While it is a challenging trek, even beginners can take it on with the right preparation.
Nature Lover: The trek is approximately 18 kilometers long and takes around 5-6 days to complete, depending on the pace of the trekker. The best time to undertake the Gangotri Gaumukh trek is from May to June and from September to November, as the weather during these months is generally pleasant and the trekking conditions are favorable.
